We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2024, at the age of 89, Martha Emelyn Carroll Helvey of Kingsport, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Martha Emelyn Carroll farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Martha Emelyn Carroll is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Carroll and Cecile Carroll; and her husband Charles Helvey. She is survived by : her son Chuck Helvey (Tammy); her grandchildren, Josh Helvey (Sarah) and Branson Helvey; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Sadie and Lucy Helvey; and her sister Joann Carroll Murray. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Rock Springs Methodist Church (227 Church View Dr, Kingsport, TN 37664). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rock Springs Methodist Church Cemetery (227 Church View Dr, Kingsport, TN 37664).
