She was predeceased by: her parents, Echol Bowen and Alice Bowen; her husband Tyler Odell Sproles; her daughter Gloria Sproles Rowe; her great grandchild Casey Jackson Morton; and her siblings, Mabel, Lula, Ann, Kate, Rebecca, Ruth, June, Helen Jo and Manson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Sproles Cover; her son-in-law Gary Rowe; her granddaughters, Gina Rowe Hensley and Whitney Rowe Morton; her stepgranddaughter Christy Cover; her great great grandchildren, Matt Hensley, Taylor Richey (Hensley), Cole Morton and Lindsay Jordan; and her sister-in-law Georgia Flannery. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes - Kingsport (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Lawn Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
