She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelburne Henry and Gladys Barker (Scalf); her grandparents, Ransome, Nella Marie Scalf (Bledsoe), James L. and Rosa Barker (Carter); her father-in-law Larry Allen Elkins; her stepfather-in-law Hascal Lane; and her cousin Steve Neeley.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Allen Elkins; her son Jacob Allen Elkins (Caitlin Morrison); her mother-in-law Rebecca Elkins; her cousins, Robin, Julie, Ginger, Beverly, Tracey, Carla and Tonja; her sisters-in-law, Malynda, Tammy Shirey and Dawn Evans (Billy); her nephew Brandon Evans (Harlie); and her niece Rebekah Evans.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gate City Funeral Home (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251).
