He was predeceased by : his father Carl Lane. He is survived by : his mother Sue Lane; his wife Cathy Lane; his children, Darhonda Lane, Jeremiah Lane (Megan) and Leshia Nichols (Courtney); his grandchildren, Logan Lane, Jenna Malone, Braelyn, Brandyn, Brooklyn, Bricyn, Adrianna Lane-Nichols and Taygen Nichols; and his great grandchildren, Levi and Elaia Bea Lane. He is also survived by three sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
