He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Collins and Bessie Collins; his brother Junior Collins; his father-in-law Charles Williams; and his brother Carl Wayne Collins (Shirley).

He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Williams Collins; his pets, Tinker and Rowdy; his sister Sue Derrick (Elijah); his mother-in-law Joy Williams; and his sister-in-law Sue Williams.
