She is survived by: her daughter Julie Ashens; her stepchildren, Michael Skeen, Beth Skeen and Tracy Skeen; her granddaughter Cheyenne Ashens; her stepgrandchildren, River, Noah Skeen, Tyler, Zach Vorp, Andrew, Taylor and Josh Skeen; and her siblings, Lennie Durham, Kirby Durham, Curtis Durham, Terry Durham, Paul Bolling, Alice Davidson, Emma Lou Waddell and Sabrina Durham.
A procession was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Holding Funeral Home (17 E 3rd St N, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Skeen Cemetery.
