In the sacred silence of farewell, Wallace Edward is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Wallace Edward's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fletcher and Ruth Stoe Fletcher; his wife Marsha Renfro Fletcher; and his siblings, Brenda Adams and Joe Fletcher.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Chelsea Martin; and his siblings, Cecil Fletcher, Larry Fletcher, Joyce Hall (Joe Glymp) and Martha Belanger (Randy Hudson). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660).
