He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Frank, Lorene Thacker of Kingsport, Paul King and Norma Jean Harris (Robert A.) of Kingston. He is survived by : his parents, Sheila Sproles and Chuck King; his daughters, Isabella King and Gabriella King (Braxton MacDonald); the mother of his children Heather Salyer King; his siblings, Amy Davis (Spencer), April Plemons Reagan (Stephen) and Braden King; and his granddaughter Ivy Fair Holm.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grove Church (2150 Kingston Hwy, Kingston, TN 37763). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (405 Old Johnston Valley Rd, Kingston, TN 37763).
