It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Hoyt Guettner of Kingston, Tennessee, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilbur Guetter and Beuna Guetter; his siblings, Glenn, Harmon, Houston Guettner, Evelyn Byrd, Mary Katherine Culbertson, Barbara Oody and Eva Grace Parker; his daughter Laurie Catherina Guettner; his uncle Hoyt Robinette; and his cousin Tom Guettner.

He is survived by : his wife Thelma Scott Guettner of Kingston; his children, Julie Kelly (Greg) of Kingston and Taylor Guettner (Dana) of Mt. Juliet; his grandchildren, AnnaLauren Kelly of Atlanta, GA, Jackson Kelly of Kingston and Samuel Guettner of Knoxville; and his sister Elsie Frayley (Sam) of Rome, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Riverside Baptist Church Building Fund.
