He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Jeffers and Richard Bufton; and his brother Karl Thillemann. He is survived by: his wife Judy Bufton of Kingston, TN; his children, Erica Bufton-Green of Rockwood, TN, James Bufton of Oak Ridge, TN, Nathan Crass of Lenoir City, TN and Paul Geogian of Missouri; and his brother Gary Spaay of Georgia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
