He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Love and Vivian Love; his brother Alvie Love; and his grandson Drew Love. He is survived by: his wife Judy Love; his sons, Jim Love (Nancy), Ken Love (Charmaine) and Dwayne Love (Susan); his stepdaughters, Ronda Hardin (Darrell), Tracye Foster (Tim) and Shannon Wilson; and his sisters, Marilyn "Peanuts" Hoffman, Shirley McKeand and Judy Brown (John). He is also survived by two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Berry Highland South (9010 Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Alvin's honor to Ebenezer Baptist Church 2200 Midway Road, Knoxville, TN 37914.
