He was predeceased by: his wife Jo Ann Cowan. He is survived by: his daughters, Cherie Dempster (Jim) of Morristown and Glenda Siler (Rick) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Jay Dempster (Audrey), Jennifer Frey (Josh) and Shelly Brandt (Jaci); and his brother Earl Cowan of Flint, Michigan.. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
