She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband William Montgomery; her parents, Paul Punaro and Lydia Punaro; her son Paul; her daughter-in-law Francesca; and her grandson Anthony.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel (6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (711 S Northshore Dr, Knoxville, TN 37919).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Dr. Aurelia Montgomery Memorial Catholic School Fund ,https://dioknox.org. , which will support Diocese of Knoxville Catholic schools.
