She was predeceased by: her husband Carroll Vinsant; her parents, Effie Phillips Hammontree and Claude William Hammontree; her children, Jimmy Bales and Becky Miller; her siblings, Bernard Hammontree, Sarah Daughtrey and Sally Williams; her children-in-law, Joe Greene, Bruce Miller, Chris Long and Jan Seay Bales; her granddaughters, Tracy McDowell, Stacey Sullivan and Jamie McCarter; and her great grandchildren, Davie Hurst and Jason Morrison Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Greene, Susan Cathy Gibbs and Teresa McCarter; and her great grandchild Steven Cunningham. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
