She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Steele and Gladys Steele; her siblings, Elmer, Burl, Harold Steele and June Ruggles; and the father of her children John Parker.

She is survived by : her children, Chan Parker (Steph), Brad Parker (Donna) and Pennye Wilkerson (John); and her grandchildren, Griffen and Steele Parker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
