It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Elizabeth Sanders of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Stephens and Anna Stephens; her son David Sanders; her siblings, James Stephens (Lavona), Isaac Stephens, Audie Conley (Paul), Merle Wheeler (Freeman) and Leesa Black; her brothers-in-law, Doug Lyons and Kenneth Arrington; and her close friends, Jim and June Krug.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Isaac Sanders (Melanie), Eli Sanders (Chloe), Joshua Luallen and Aaron Cagle; her great grandchildren, August and Greyson Sanders; her sisters, Liddie Lyons of Springfield, OH and Edna Arrington of Blaine, KY; and her daughters-in-law, Shannon Sanders and Carrie Cagle. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
