She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar D. Eaves and Dorothea B. Eaves; and her brother James "Jimmy" Eaves. She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Garriott; her children, Todd C. Garriott, Dorothea "Dori" G. Wright, Scott E. Garriott and Shelley L. Trent; her grandchildren, Kaylynn G. Wright, Westin P. Wright and Oakley K. Trent; her siblings-in-law, Mary Beth Garriott (Suzette Eaves) and William "Bill" Garriott; her sibling's children, Paula Essary, William "Will" Garriott, Patton "Pat" Garriott and Miles Garriott; and her pets, Max, Maggie and Squeaky.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church (9132 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
