She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Perryman and Doris Perryman; her husband Michael Sherrod; her daughter Catherine "Katy Bug" Sherrod; her brother Michael T. Hurst; and her grandmother Juanita Perryman.

She is survived by : her children, Kristi Paul and Larry Paul Jr. (Donna); her siblings, Beverly Cruze (Rick), Tammy Perryman (Dean), Vicki Scarbrough, Robert Perryman (Carol) and Randy Perryman (Vanessa); her grandchildren, Josh Paul (Chelsea) and Kelsey McCurry (Jo Jo); and her great grandchild John Thomas Paul.
