In loving memory of Charles Montgomery of Knoxville, Tennessee, who departed this world on August 1, 2025 at the age of 88. Charles leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tedford Montgomery and Florance Buchanan Montgomery; and his nephew Gabriel Headrick. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Montgomery; his children, Charles Edgar Montgomery II (Nicole Montgomery), Daniel Glenn Montgomery and Virginia Montgomery Visser (Steve Visser); his sister Betty Montgomery Headrick; his brother-in-law Michael Headrick; his stepdaughters, Amy Hyrinyak (Matt) and Amanda Giles (Brian); and his grandchildren, Garland Montgomery Fisher (Jason Fisher), Gates Montgomery, Gray Montgomery, Gwyneth Montgomery, Ben Giles and Josh Giles.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fountian City Presbyterian Church or Habitat for Humanity.
