With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clifton Paul Stewart of Knoxville, Tennessee, born in Jonesville, Virginia, who passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Jessie Hazelwood; his parents, Clifton Stewart and Eliza Jane Campbell Stewart; his siblings, Sylva June Roop, Margaret Louise Miles and Charles Stewart; and his close friend Howard Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Margarett Stewart; his children, Suzie Stewart Hazelwood and Brett Stewart (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ashley Farrington (Jeffrey), Asa Hazelwood (Katie) and Caity Turpin (Chris); his great grandchildren, Jase Farrington, Adalyn Farrington, Georgina Hazelwood, Avery Turpin and Emerson Turpin; his siblings, Ora Ruth Runner (Tom) and Burley Herman Stewart (Debbie); his brother-in-law Jess Roop; his friends, Dr. Lee Toney and Lloyd Aldridge; and also Scott Whaley.
