Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Deborah Anne Chalmers Torbett (Knoxville, Tennessee), who passed away at the age of 71, on September 23, 2025. Though Deborah Anne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Deborah Anne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her brother Scott Chalmers; and her parents, Wilma Watley Chalmers and Joe Chalmers. She is survived by: her husband Robert Torbett; and her children, Kristin Dycus and Scott Torbett. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Cemetery (4401 Sutherland Ave, Knoxville, TN 37919).
