It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Kearns Stanga in Knoxville, Tennessee, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Stanford Kearns and Marie Louise Bokenfohr Kearns; her siblings, Leo Jr., Bill, Tom, Buck, Bob, Peggy Borne, Gloria Weimer and Iris Pena; and her son Craig.

She is survived by : her son Keith; her daughter-in-law Linda; her grandchildren, Brian, Christian and Ross; her great grandchildren, Jay, Elley and Katherine; and her sister-in-law Addie Joy Kearns. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church (720 Talbot Ave, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
