With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Stanton of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Mays and Hallie Mays; her husband Robert Stanton, Sr.; her sons, Clyde Stanton and Tim Stanton; and her brother Charles Mays.
She is survived by: her son Bobby Stanton (Emily); her grandchildren, Valerie Wilson, Brett Stanton (Vanessa), Landry Stanton (Jordan), Hayle Yokley (Caleb) and Amber Stanton; her great grandchildren, Chandler, Jenna, Wrenly Wilson, Marshall, Kayleigh Stanton, Lucy, Jolee, Wesley Stanton, Emitt, Archer and Elliott Yokley; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Mays.
