It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl McKinley Watson (Knoxville, Tennessee), who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Worsham (Margaret Watson) and Trula Worsham; his sister Alice Sandefur; his mother-in-law Louise Acuff; his son-in-law Gary Nelson; and his grandchildren, Dustin James and Megan James Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Watson; his children, Michael (Janet Watson), Mitzi (Bill Owens), Marla Watson Holland and Michelle Watson Nelson; his grandchildren, Michael (Donna), Aaron (Ashley), Erika (Matthew), Matthew (Anastasia), Whitney (Philip), Tiffany (Jay), Kaitlyn (Virgil) and Jeana; his siblings, Blanche, Ruth (Richard), Lisa (Darrell), Shirley, Wilma, Edna, Mary, Louise, Debbie, Junior (Jewel), David, Dexter and Paul; and his siblings-in-law, Jo Netta and Gary Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousin and close friends.
