It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Liz) Locke of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Sam. She is survived by : her brother Bob Roth (Cindy); and her friend Kathy Callahan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

“Dear family I was looking forward to further visit with Liz. A few deacons from Gillespie Avenue took me to see her a few weeks ago. It was a delightful visit. She was quick of wit, engaged & quite the conversationalist. She even walked us to the door. I was so surprised to hear how quickly her health declined. When I saw her last week she was not the same woman…but, when I asked her if she knew who I was…she said, you’re the new preacher. Let us know how we can serve you all. Bro.Mike”
