She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Dewey Lester; her parents, Roland Fawver and Margaret Fawver (Adcock); and her siblings, Charlotte "Tottie" Byrd, Hal Fawver, Norma Jane "Janie" Underwood and George Fawver.
She is survived by: her sons, Alex Lester and Kreis Lester (Dawn); her grandchildren, Courtney Haggard (Steve), Morgan Lester (Sara) and Christopher Human (Nykol); her great grandchildren, Maddy, Nate Lester, Caitlin, Lily and Anna Haggard; and her grandson Lester. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thorn Grove Cemetery (721 S Carter School Rd, Strawberry Plains, TN 37831).
