He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Brewton and Marie Blanton Brewton; his sister Judy Ward; his brother-in-law Bob Ward; his brother Donnie Brewton; and his nephew Bobby Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Dickerson Brewton; his stepdaughter Tori Blevins; his sister Joyce Gasnow; his sibling's children, Julie Courtney (John), Lisa Lucas, Kristin Brown (Byron), Karen Kerley (Adam), Kristin Qualls (CH), Lyndsay Carr (Michael), Johnny Brewton (Dawn), Donnie Brewton (Claudia), David Gasnow (Leslie), Ian and Noah Dickerson; his siblings-in-law, Ginny Brewton, Rick Dickerson (Davi) and Tim Dickerson (Sonia); and his mother-in-law Johnnie Dickerson Scott.
