She was predeceased by : her parents, Edith Ward and Herbert Ward; and her in-laws, Kenneth Emert, Sr. and Geneva Emert. She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Emert, Jr.; her sister Frankie Mynatt; and her nephew Chad Mynatt. She is also survived by cousins, aunts, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918).
