He was predeceased by: his parents, Judson Hankins and Rosalie Hankins; and his siblings, Robert "Buddy", James Hankins and Barbara Buhrmaster.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gale Hankins; his daughters, Kimberly Hurst (Jesse), Tammi Sellers (Tim) and Angela Sellers (John); his grandchildren, Brandon Sellers, Nick Bundy (Hannah), Amanda Hurst (Dustin), Ashlyn Baumann (Matt), Alexandra Hammond (Nick) and Blake Sellers; his sister Mildred Burton; and his close friend Shadow. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
