It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George C. Kaousias (Knoxville, Tennessee), who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Konstantinos Kaousias of Vagia and Foteini Kaousias (Sousani) of Erythres, Greece.; his wife Georgia (Xanthos); and his brother Thanassi Kaousias. He is survived by: his daughters, Deena Kaousias of Knoxville, Fay Shrock (Manny) of Knoxville and Tammy Kaousias (Todd Steed) of Knoxville; and his caregivers, Heather, Paula and George.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (4070 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St George Greek Orthodox Church (4070 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A procession was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (4070 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A burial was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the Lynnhurst Cemetery (2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918).
