He is survived by: his wife Maria Carmen Paterno; his sons, Andrew Gerard Paterno and Micheal Douglas Paterno (Meghan Brigid Paterno); and his siblings, Janet Lee Shaw (Marc Lloyd Shaw), Paris, Tom, Leon and Kevin.
