She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Anderson and Gladys Anderson; her siblings, James Melvin Anderson, Woodrow Anderson, Jr., Barbara Ann Nance and Mary Martin; her niece Johnisha Anderson; and her nephews, Ronnie, Norris and Terry Patton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shalonda Taylor (Christopher) and Kia Batiste of Knoxville, TN; her grandsons, Cain, Ja'Lyn and Kiante Taylor of Knoxville, TN; her sisters, Dorothy Patton of Jackson, MS, Alice Anderson, Vickie Thompson of Oak Ridge, TN, Phyllis Watts of Knoxville, TN and Clarissa; and also David Anderson of Chattanooga, TN.
