She was predeceased by: her husband Nathan Towe; her children, Peggy Hitte (late Bobby), Robin Hurst, Tim Towe and Joel Towe (Wendy); her parents, Enoch Hurst and Margaret Hurst; and her siblings, Jennie, Mary Frances, Ron and Fred Hurst.
She is survived by: her children, Iva Wells (Stan), Jeanie Cupp (Bruce), Madeline Hopkins (Greg), Connie Schmidt (Thom), Natalie Ashby (late James), Gregory Towe (Sarah) and Phil Towe (Rebecca); and her siblings, Katherine Ownby, Gladys West, Carolyn Tinsley, Moquita McCranie (Raymond), Betty Murphy (Lynn), Terry Hurst (Tami), Marty Hurst (Lisa) and Ginger Long (Robert). She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
