He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Neely and Mimia Neely; and his siblings, Howard, Melvin, Thomas, Gabriel, Glen, Dan Neely, Glayds, Hazel, Imogene and Katherine.

He is survived by: his wife Thelma; his children, Patricia, Coy (Leslie) and Sandy (Teddy); his grandchildren, Courtney Bowen (Shane) and Cody Keck (Hailey); his great grandchildren, Harper Belle Bowen, Cleo Jo Keck and Brooks McCoy Bowen; and his nieces, Linda Atkins (Mike) and Joyce Davis (Gary). He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emory Pike American Christian Church, 7809 Boruff Rd, Corryton, TN 37721.
