He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Ware; his parents, Howard Roy Ware Sr. and Clara Ware; and his siblings, Fred Ware and Patsy Ware.

He is survived by: his daughter Lynn Driver (Jeff Howard); his grandchildren, Zachary Driver (Chris Kline), Jake Driver and Ally Driver; and his siblings, Walter Ware and Sandra Nuchols.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First United Methodist of Knoxville, 3316 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919.
