She was predeceased by: her husband John D. May, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Linda Coates (Cameron) of Kingsport, TN and John D. May, Jr. (Tammy) of Knoxville, TN; and her grandchildren, Nicki Lee McGee (Marcus), Amanda Alexander, Laura Wood (Jony), Matthew Coates (Kelly), Corelyn Coates, Lexi Mailahn and Eric Mailahn. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Pittman's Funeral Service (6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Cemetery (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919).
