Though James has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. James E Goddard Sr. and Mildred Goddard. He is survived by: his wife Robin Goddard; his daughter Noel; his son-in-law John Prisco; and also, Heath and Dana Soehn of Gatlinburg, TN.
He stopped volunteering following the pandemic, having accumulated over 20, 000 hrs of service to the Park.
