He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Blalock, Sr. and Helen Opal Greear Blalock; and his daughter Jenny Kate Blalock. He is survived by: his wife Gloria K. Blalock; his children, Tim Blalock and Kelly; his son-in-law Brian Norris; his granddaughter Ainsley Norris; and his sister-in-law Gail Clark. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
