It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Schneider Gray of Knoxville, Tennessee, born in Tazewell, Tennessee, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her former life partner Louis "Luke" Schneider; her husband Frederick Gray; and her siblings, Lita Bee Hopper, Bethel Wright, Kenneth Hipshire and Voyd Hipshire.

She is survived by : her children, Keith Schneider, Linda Honold (David) and Kathy Vannoy (John); and her grandchildren, Bryan Schneider, Matthew Honold (Kathy), Whitney Menninger (Joe), Kevin Honold, Nathan Honold (Elizabeth), Madison York (Cary), Lauren Johnson (Tyler) and Chandler Vannoy (Alison). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
