She was predeceased by : her husband Major David L. Alley; her daughter Norma Corrine; her parents, Beatrice Carpenter Burns and Herbert S. Burns; and her sister Pauline Burns Allen.
She is survived by : her children, Susan Weber of Knoxville, TN, Joy Smith (Hal) of Nolensville, TN, David Jr. (Jeanie) of Knoxville, TN and Ann Kington (Mark) of Alexandria, VA.; and her sister Norma Jo Burns Hamilton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
