In loving memory of Jimmy Ray Claiborne of Knoxville, Tennessee, who departed this world on September 28, 2025 at the age of 77. Jimmy leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert "Hube" Claiborne and Irene Claiborne; and his brother Hubert Dennis "Denny" Claiborne. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Wheeler Claiborne; his daughters, Tracy Vandergriff (Mike), Christy Hancock (Wes) and Mitzi Armendariz (Martin); and his granddaughters, Taylor and Abigail Hancock.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hill Cemetery.
