She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Yelvington, I; and her siblings, Ann Pollard, Shirley Boyd, Hugh Ray, Neil, Ronnie, Jimmy and Darrel Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Yelvington, II (Trinia) and Cathy Yelvington of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Peyton Yelvington, Dalton Wise, Stephanie Snipes, KaLeigh Snipes and Amber Barnes; her great grandchildren, Kyler, MaKenzy, Eli, Jamison, Jasper and Madison; her son Waylon Snipes of Knoxville; and her brothers, Danny (Connie Boyd) and Gary (Sharon Boyd).
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose Funeral and Cremation-Mann Chapel (6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose Mann Heritage Chapel (6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery (4401 Sutherland Ave, Knoxville, TN 37919).
