It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth James Hunley of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Conley Hunley and Margaret Hunley; and his son John Hunley. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hunley; his children, Curtis Mashburn (Jane), Michael Hunley (Tracy), Delta Sharp (Rick Smith), William Hunley (Laura), Linsey Proaps, Andrew Hunley (Heather), Anthony Mashburn and Joshua Hunley; and his great grandchildren, Ariona Jones, Max Hunley and Ace Proaps. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mt. Vale Church of God (1330 E Dumplin Valley Rd, Jefferson City, TN 37760). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
