She was predeceased by: her mother Charlotte Davis Sharp of Caryville, Tennessee.; her uncles, Crosby Murray, Frankie and Cab Callaway of Knoxville; her in-laws, Riley Barrett (Bonar) and Rowena Barrett Ward; her stepfather Benny Ward of Oak Ridge; her brother-in-law David Barrett; and her nephew Thomas Barrett of Idaho.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Barrett (Melissa) of Signal Mountain, TN and Susan Silvers (Stephen) of Knoxville; her grandsons, William Silvers and Nicholas Barrett; her sisters-in-law, Clare Barrett of Idaho and Judy Birdwell (David) of Knoxville; her siblings' children, Alan Barrett, Leslie Birdwell and Jodie Birdwell Brown (Greg); her sisters, Frankie Sharp Hiatt (Gerry) of Indiana, Pat Sharp Brown of Jacksboro and Dolores Cross Bartley of Morristown; and also Jane Meredith of Florida. She is also survived by children, and three cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cross-Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (300 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cross-Smith Chapel Cross-Smith Funeral Home (300 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766).
