She was predeceased by: her husband Wendell H. Russell; and her parents, Inez Highfill Lawrance and Harold Gaines Lawrance. She is survived by: her daughter Wendy Ruth Russell (Lee Dudka); her grandsons, Peter Ivan Dudka (Paula Eisenbraun Dudka) and Andrew Wendell Dudka; and her sons, Lawrance Gaines Russell (Melissa Tipton Russell) and Randall Highfill Russell.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St John's Episcopal Cathedral (413 Cumberland Ave, Knoxville, TN 37902).
