It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Gerava Carpenter of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Carpenter; her son Terry Carpenter; her parents, Samuel Harper and Zola Harper; and her siblings, Devona, James "Buddy" and Ruth.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Carpenter, Linda Bolin (Ken) and Brenda McCutcheon (Craig); her grandchildren, Derick Bolin (Jennifer) and Ryan Carpenter (Joy); her stepgrandson Jeramy McCutcheon (Elissa); her great grandchildren, Devin, Emma Bolin, Addyson and Blakley Carpenter; and her stepgreat-grandson Liam McCutcheon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Meridian Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Carpenter, 6513 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920.
