She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Mary Frances Stricklan Scribner and Richard Lay; her significant other Steve Fine; and her cousin Tiffany Lay-Raley. She is survived by: her parents, Cheryl Walt (John) and Chris Lay (Kim); her sister Brittany Lay; her grandmothers, Linda Lay and Kay Walt; her aunts and uncles, James Scribner, Mark, Vickie Swartz, Debra O'Neill and Cam Walt; her great-aunt Barbara Herron (Joe); her nephew Noah Lay; and her cousins, Ian Scribner, Vann Scribner, Mariah Mary Scribner, Matthew and Dustin Plumlee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Evans Mortuary (805 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Evans Mortuary to help with expenses.
