She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Neas and Helen Neas; and her brother Sam Neas (John Cole II). She is survived by: her husband John; her sons, John Cole III (Christy) and David Cole; her grandchildren, Jordan Mason (Joseph), Jessica Cole, John Cole IV and Patrick Cole; and her great grandchildren, Nora Mason, Carter Mason and Ivy Mason.

In Lieu Of Flowers, donations may be made, in her memory, to the SAM program at St. John's Lutheran Church in Knoxville.
