With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Joyce Ellison of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Joyce Ellison to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Carl Ellison; her parents, Willis Dykes and Nellie Dykes; and her siblings, Neil, Rodger Dykes and Sheila Hoskins.
She is survived by: her spouse Eddie; her children, Brad Ellison, Gene Ellison (Crystal) and Kim Bright (Pat); and her grandchildren, Josh, Jessica, Ashli, Eric and Brittany. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wooddale Free Will Baptist Church (712 Wooddale Church Rd, Knoxville, TN 37924). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wooddale Free Will Baptist Church.
