Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phyllis Jean George of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 90, on April 10, 2024. She was predeceased by : her husband Bill George; her son Judson George; her parents, Earl Ailor and Thelma Ailor; and her brother E. J. Ailor.

She is survived by : her children, Julia (Danny Cox), Rena (Gary Beeler) and Kendall (Tammy George). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beaver Dam Baptist Church (4328 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lynnhurst Cemetery (2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918).
